Our Cedar Maintenance Program
New Zealand has an extremely harsh UV. Our maintenance program is designed to keep your cedar protected in these conditions. This is especially evident on certain elevations where the UV is the most damaging. Our maintenance program sets reminders to get in touch each year or as required.
Jacks Point Cedar Care will then notify you of maintenance required and recommend an action plan.

Typically, certain elevations require a refresh before others and so these appraisals can identify which ones are necessary, helping decide the most timely and economical approach. Scheduled follow-ups, timely reminders...
Once we've identified a plan together we will confirm the follow up and schedule reviews of the work done, check on how certain elevations are fairing and what might need doing next or not. These plans save you money in the long run by not letting the timber get too dry (where cupping / pulling away from the house can occur), mouldy or faded - all of which require costly restoration work which a good maintenance plan can help you avoid.
